Synopsis: Lies and love. This is how a war starts.

A life for a life. That’s the mafia way. Damian Rossi owes his life to a man who is ready to collect. That payment comes in the form of an arranged marriage to the daughter of another leading family in the Chicago Outfit. He’s ready to follow through, even if that means making sure Lily knows she’s his.

Lily DeLuca isn’t being given a choice. Forced home to marry a man she doesn’t know and back into a life she’d rather forget, her world is full of half-truths, buried pain, and uncertainty. But Damian is nothing like she expects. His motives aren’t clear. Her beliefs are being tested.

When it comes to this world, no man can be trusted. Someone is ready to flip the Chicago Outfit on its side all for the promise of something better. But no one runs a clean game and these men play for keeps. When blood begins to paint Chicago red, four families will be divided by loyalty, hatred, and revenge. There is no hiding. There is no safety.

No one is deathless.

No one.

 4 Star Review

“No one was deathless in their world. Even the innocents could be saved.”

Deathless and Divided is of course a mafia book.. love mafia books specially when they’re good. This is my first book by this author and let me say she has a new reader now. This story was good… In mafia books theres always so much going on that something it feels like you might forget some of the characters. Not in this book. I really loved how the author keep it true to being a mafia book… but how she also added a bit of sweetness to it.

Lily DeLuca is set to come back home. Lily has been traveling and seeing the world, until her brother Dino calls her back home. of course she reluctant to return. She does not want anything to do with The Oufit aka Mob. She just wants to love her life and travel. Her brother has other ideas and she is set to marry someone of his choosing.

Damian Rossi aka Ghost is  a Made man. He is the right hand of the Boss. He does anything the Boss wants. He has lived his life with the mafia and thats all he knows. he is quiet, and not a people person. Damian has debt to pay and the time has come for him to pay it. He is set to marry a Deluca.  DeLucas are know well liked… past choices have affected them in the eyes of the other families. Damian is loyal and contempt with his life. As he meets his bride to be… things stat to change.

Lily is stubbord ass woman. She hurt and carries a  grudge to the The Boss. After losing her parents when she was young… Lily doesn’t anything to do with The Oufit. She is angry and doesn’t understand why would her brother do this.

After two meeting with Damian things tart to change. Lily sees a man she never expected. Soon, Lily and Damina embark on path they didn’t see coming. Feelings they didn’t know they have.

Theres a war coming… one they didn’t expect and they definitely got. But they know they have each other now and thats all that matters.

If you’re looking for a crime mafia book then this is the book for you. Cant wait to read the next book in this series.
